Salty Traditions was founded by Louisiana native artist
Joshua Hebert. We have been open since August 2017 and our brand has begun to
take off like wildfire.
All the art on the shirts is original art done by Joshua.
Joshua is mainly a digital artist but does traditional paintings as well.
Note from the artist: “Ever since I was young I had a
passion for drawing fish. This was before putting fish on clothing was ever a
big thing. I remember my dad had a mounted largemouth bass on his wall and I would
sit there for hours drawing that bass. Let’s just say my dad’s wall in his
office was covered in crawfish and bass art. I was always fascinated by fishing
and the outdoors and even when I wasn’t fishing I was drawing fish.
When I was in elementary school I placed first place in an
art contest by drawing a bass jumping out of the water with a hook in his
mouth. The art was on a bookmark.
When I made it to high school I took an art class and truly excelled
at it. I placed first place in a local art contest with a painting of an
Iguana. Then later that year a painting of mine went national when I painted
the raising of the flag at Iwo Jima.
My passion and drive to be the best I can be comes from
being a single father and taking care of my two sons. They motivate me to
constantly improve on my technique so that I can be the best artist I can be.
In this message I would also like to thank God for blessing
me with such a talent and ability. Without God I would never be where I am
today. He deserves all my recognition. “
Salty Traditions also has a great team built around the
brand. Our team of Pro staffers are hand selected to fit our needs and are committed
to building our brand.
